Students and others wishing to learn from the project may arrange to visit the work. Exposure visits may be from one day to a month depending on the requirements of the individual or group. WDO has hosted international students researching for masters and Phd. thesis, donor support teams, locally based organizations and individuals wishing to know more about wholistic community development.

Narith is a 28 year old, former technical student, from Battambang province. During the last 4-years he has been a student at the Phnom Penh Bible School and since March 2006 he has been a volunteer with WDO.
Through this work experience Narith hopes that he will gain skills and knowledge that will help him, because he would like to see Cambodian society develop and for people to be able to increase their standard of living. He has enjoyed getting to know local people and through taking part in a number of participatory activities he has gained a deeper understanding of poverty. Narith has particularly valued the WDO action-reflection-learning-planning approaches and sees this as a technique that can readily be applied in his church.
At weekends Narith serves as an assistant pastor, with responsibility for youth training. In the future Narith would like to see people with the ability to develop their communities by themselves, without NGOs having to support them, and he would like all children to have the opportunity to attend school.
