WDO promotes an approach of wholism whereby the organization seeks to enable the community to meet its physical, social, economic, spiritual and intellectual needs.
Through working in a village for an extended period of 5-7 years, WDO aims to build capacity of the partner CCG such that development initiatives are able to happen independently when the organization withdraws from the area. The following case studies illustrate the ways in which WDO builds social capacity within villages.
